Pam grew up in Richmond, VA and after attending James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA was married to Brian Donohue. Together they raised a son and daughter. After studying as an education major, she taught three and four year olds and later handled admissions for a parochial elementary/middle school. During her time in school administration she assisted many families new to the area with their housing needs. This experience sparked her love for the real estate business. 

 

“Teaching and being a realtor are very similar. Both require guidance, knowledge, patience and nurturing to help people achieve their needs, goals and dreams,” says Pam. She enjoys finding that perfect fit whether it is with first time buyers or sellers or the experienced, seasoned investor. Her full attention and expertise are always front and center when dealing with clients. Simply put, she is there for them throughout the entire process – including after the sale. 

 

She has ten years of professional real estate experience in Brunswick County specializing in planned communities including St. James Plantation, Arbor Creek, Winding River and Westport. Her experience also includes the listing and sales of land and wet/dry slips in these areas. General brokerage experience includes Plantation Properties and NC Coastal Living, a business which she and realtor husband Brian successfully owned and operated. Several years later she was recruited by the developer of St. James, St. James Properties, LLC. She is now thrilled to be with the leader in Coastal property sales, Intracoastal Realty.

 

Service to the community has always been important in the Donohue family. Brian is a volunteer fire fighter and EMT with the St. James Fire Dept. Pam has worked with the Foster Children’s Christmas Program of Alamance Country, the St. James Service Club and with Sacred Heart Villas Seniors. When not working she enjoys dance of all types, learning to cook and of course spending time with her four small grandchildren:  Maddie, Anna, Griffin and Jack.
